About Print and non-digital

« Print and non-digital

The print work shown here demonstrates the same care with type, colour and form that is used for my digital work, but with other formal and technical challenges. Where digital design is often an ongoing update of an online presence, a piece of print has a relatively short shelf life, and unfortunately can’t be edited or upgraded if a typo appears or the wrong Pantone reference is used.

Some of the work involves detailed typesetting and painstaking image editing, and there is often more of an opportunity for creating complementary illustrative work.

Where digital requires a dialogue with the development team, print design depends upon a trusted relationship with your printer – worth their weight in gold (and some of them are big lads…)

The work shows a range of promotional brochures, training manuals, corporate stationery, posters, single sheet flyers and mailers, trade and exhibition displays,  as well as templates for in-house print runs
